Melanie McNeil-McCants is the most patient real estate agent I have ever found. I called her office one day to talk about a rental that was listed by her agency. I bemoaned the fact that according to the lender I had visited I would never qualify for a mortgage payment of $4,000 but could qualify for a rental for even more. Melanie suggested that I speak to THEIR lender and see what could be done. She got me connected and I got pre-approved for a real mortgage that could work for me. After that, Melanie and spoke about what i was looking for in a home; the areas I was leaning towards, and we were off! For the next 5-6 months Melanie and I spent every weekend together driving all over to listing after listing after listing. Melanie and I were a team she would provide listings....I would provide listings....she would compile an agenda, print out the route map and spend hours touring some great and some not so great properties. As I say, it took months and she must have written 6 offers for me before I had one that was accepted. Melanie walked with me through the whole process. She was knowledgeable, kept me focused, and found a wonderful home for me. Let the unpacking begin!
